OneOcean was launched in January 1998, during the International Year of the Ocean, to showcase the Coastal Resource Management Project (CRMP). It has since evolved into a rich and comprehensive resource on the Philippine experience in coastal resource management, which spans over two decades and is looked up to for models of best practices in community-based and local government-driven coastal management.
